Information TrendPlay Collects About You

TrendPlay collects and stores personal information that can identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address (“personal information”).  This information is obtained when you register with TrendPlay, (“Site”), when you install the TrendPlay mobile application on your device, or when you otherwise provide it to TrendPlay.  Information obtained from these various sources may be combined and used collectively as stated and limited herein. The Site and the mobile application may be referred to, collectively, as the “Services”.

TrendPlay also collects other information when you use the Services.  Your computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device may be assigned cookies or other tracking applications which can collect usage and internet activity and are used to provide the user with an enhanced and more efficient experience.  TrendPlay may also collect information from your device such as its IP address, the type of Internet browser you are using (e.g., Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome), and the date, time, and duration of each web site visit. This information is collected to analyze trends that help TrendPlay optimize the Services and its associated value.  This information will be used by TrendPlay for the benefit of its users and TrendPlay.

TrendPlay may share aggregated and non-personal information it collects with certain third parties.  For instance, TrendPlay tracks how many visits the Site and the mobile application receive, TrendPlay organizes and analyzes this information, and it shares it internally and with investors and/or advertisers.  This information is statistical in nature and cannot be used to identify you.

The Site and mobile application, from time to time, may contain links to third-party web sites or applications.  TrendPlay does not control any third-party sites or applications to which it links. TrendPlay recommends that you review the privacy policy of each third-party site or application you use.

Cancellation of Your Account

You may choose to cancel your account with TrendPlay at any time for any reason.  Once your account is deactivated, you will no longer be able to access or edit information you have provided to TrendPlay.  TrendPlay will retain some of your information for purposes of analysis and for recordkeeping as permitted and/or required by Federal, State, or local laws.  Once your account with TrendPlay is deactivated, any of your information that has been shared with third parties will be retained or used according to the privacy policies of those third parties.

Your Choices About Provision, Collection, and Use of Your Information

You always have the choice to provide as much or as little information to TrendPlay as desired by you.  However, TrendPlay requires a minimum amount of information from you in order to provide the Services. You may choose, at any time, to no longer receive promotional communications from TrendPlay; all promotional communications you receive from TrendPlay will provide you with the opportunity to opt out from receiving further communications.

TrendPlay takes the protection of all its users’ personal information extremely seriously.  TrendPlay employs both physical and electronic means to safeguard the storage of all personal information.  All employees, agents, and independent contractors of TrendPlay who have access to your personal information are legally bound by confidentiality obligations and are fully accountable for their access and use of the information.

TrendPlay makes periodic changes to its Privacy Policy to adjust to developments in industry, law, and fraud.  You will be notified by email of any material changes made to the Privacy Policy. What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
